After their record setting pace in Vancouver where Canada dominated all countries with 14 gold, they were in tough going into Sochi. Vancouver was a wakeup call for other countries that Canada could compete and they could win. For a while it looked like Canada were not going to win any gold at all but once they got their first one, the others came - 10 in all and good for 3rd overall and only one medal less than in Vancouver!
