The logo of the Seattle Seahawks represents a head of a fierce looking hawk which is basically a popular symbol derived from the Egyptian hieroglyphs used to represent their Falcon. Most other areas of the logo also are said to resemble more closely to the Haida Eagle form. The colors used in the hawk head include royal blue, black and forest green based on Northwestern tribal art. The designer clearly saw no need to add font to the logo as the use of the hawk’s head itself speaks of the team’s image.
