The 2016-17 NHL season will mark the Toronto Maple Leafs Centennial Season and the team will celebrate the historic occasion with a year full of events that honours Leafs legends, commemorates key moments in club history and engages fans of all ages. The Maple Leafs Centennial Anniversary comes at a very special time in the team’s history.  It allows us to look back and celebrate the great players, accomplishments and special memories of one of the most important franchises in hockey, but at the same time, look ahead to the next 100 years and the start of an exciting new chapter in team history.

This Toronto Centennial Flag is a reminder of good years and the Leafs have had many! Designed for this year and their new future, the 2016-17 edition of this team is exciting and being lead by Auston Matthews, a super star in the making!  Toronto ranks 2nd all time with 13 Cup wins, 2nd only to Montreal. Detroit is next with 11 and all the other teams are well back. It goes to show you that the Toronto Maple Leafs have had some great teams over the years and there's a lot more to come in the next 100 years!
